Family concerts for young children “Kiki at the Sea” – 2nd show

In October 2024, a special series of family concerts titled “Kiki at the Sea” will be held in Nicosia. These concerts, primarily aimed at preschool-aged children, are organized in collaboration with the music educator Christina Charalambidou, the Quintus Wind Ensemble and the narrator Sophia Lambrou. The goal is to offer an interactive music education experience through storytelling and listening to classical works.

Young audiences will have the opportunity to discover the basic principles of music, such as rhythm, melody, and emotional expression. At the same time, they will be introduced to significant works by composers like Claude Debussy, Camille Saint-Saëns, and George Bizet. With the children’s interactive participation, the concerts provide an opportunity to develop musical skills and express themselves through music.

These innovative concerts, held since 2013 with the support of educational institutions, are ideal for parents and children who want to explore the world of music together.
